Pixie cut finger waves?

i have a pixie cut and want to learn how to create early 1900s finger waves (like how women did in the 20s-40s) but i cant seem to find how to do it. i looked on the internet, but all i can find are tutorials for women with med-long hair can create pin curls or faux finger waves, could anyone help me by telling me how to create them, or find a tutorial for me? thank you so much!
