What rodent should I get?

I recently had to get rid of my 5 guinea pigs, my mom was terrified of them becuase they bit a tincy piece of her finger off. Haha. And My 3 hamsters died. Ive had alot of animals before, and I want something else, My dad wants me to get a tarantula. But i dont want to very much. I was looking into getting anorther rodent, BUT, i DONT want hamster, rabbit, guinea pig, gerbil, mouse, or rat. And parents said they prefer no ferrets too. Space is no concern, i have all the room they need. I want something like maybe a chinchilla? How would i raise the money to get one though? What small animal do you think i should get, that i would like? and How do i raise the money for a chinchilla? And how to convince parents to let me geta chinchilla?
