How can i ask for as guinea pig for my birthday?

I had that same problem and my parents said no the first time but I kept my room clean and helped out a lot and if you are already trying this what you should do is save up a little bit of money so you can buy everything for your guinea pig and also buy your guinea pig:) hope I helped:)
