Is a rabbit a rodent?

rabbits are not rodents. They belong to their own classification with picas and hares called lagomorph. Rodents and lagomorphs do have some similarities ie; constant growing teeth. Lagomorph in addition to the growing teeth also have a set of peg teeth growing behind the upper incisors. Digestion in lagomorph is also very unlike rodents amongst other differences.
