Should I dissect a pig's heart, or not?

We have to do it for Bio this year. One can say 'no'. I'm not sure, I'm not a vegetarian, but I find the whole thing pretty sick-making. And I feel bad for the pig. What will my scarily gorgeous Science teacher think of me?
