How to install single player commands on Mac?

I've Done It Exactly As It Says In All The Tutorials, Including Deleting The META folder. It Might have Something To Do With me Not Having Patch.properties in the Single Player Comands Folder. I Move Everything In The Correct Place, Yet I Still Get Black Screen And I Tried It With And Without Too Many Items. I Don't Have ModLoader, AudioMod Or Any Other Mods.
